A meeting with representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent".

During the meeting, participants were provided with detailed information on the Exchange’s activities, the development trends of Uzbekistan’s capital market, ongoing reforms in the sector, and measures being implemented to enhance market infrastructure.

The parties also discussed the current state and future prospects of Uzbekistan’s capital market, opportunities for further improving the investment climate, the introduction of international best practices, and initiatives aimed at increasing the market’s transparency and attractiveness to investors.

The participants exchanged views on the development of the capital market, the promotion of investment activity, and the expansion of international cooperation.

The meeting marked another important step toward strengthening cooperation with international financial institutions and advancing the national capital market in line with international standards.
