According
to the results of auction on the Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent"
for the week from April 30 to May 4, 2018, 62 purchase and sale transactions
were concluded with securities of 13 joint-stock companies. As a result, 68.1
million securities were sold. The total turnover of the exchange was 4.2
billion sums.
Analysis of
branch indicators of the exchange on investment attractiveness shows that
securities of commercial banks were in the greatest demand in the past period
and the share of banks in total trade turnover was – 97%.
The largest
transaction of the week was concluded on May 2 in the Main Board mode as a
result, 1.3 million shares of the PJSCB Turkiston worth 1.3 billion sums were
sold. The cost of one share was 1000 sums.
Leader in
terms of the number of concluded deals for the week is JSC Kvarts. Shares of
JSC participated in 22 transactions, 13.2 thousand shares (59.5 million sums)
which were traded on the secondary market of RSE "Toshkent".
The average
daily turnover of securities for the period from April 30 to May 4 was 0.85
billion sums, while the average transaction amounted to 68.4 million sums. At
the same time, the average selling price per share was 62.2 sums.
The highest
price per share for this period was marked by the results of the deal with
shares JSC KINAP. Securities of this company were sold on the secondary market
at a price of 50,000 sums per share. The nominal value of each share was 5.000
sums.
In terms of
trading volume, the leader is PJSCB Turkiston (the share in the weekly turnover
of the stock exchange was 85.2% or 3.6 billion sums), JSCB
O'zsanoatqurilishbank (11.8% or 0.5 billion sums), JSC Kvarts (1.4% or 59.5 million sums) and JSC Kapital
sug'urta (1.3% or 57.4 million sums). Their total volume was 99.8% (4.2 billion
sums) from the entire turnover of the exchange for the week.
By
categories of investors, the greatest activity was observed in individuals: on
the amount of concluded deals - 86.7% (3.7 billion sums) of the total; by the
number of concluded deals - 83.8% (52 pieces).
Considering
the exchange turnover according to the regional affiliation of issuers, it
should be noted that during the past week, purchase and sale transactions were
concluded with shares of enterprises of eight regions of the Republic of
Uzbekistan. The largest volume of transactions was recorded with shares of
enterprises of Tashkent city - 98.5% of the total turnover.
Since the
beginning of the year, on the RSE "Toshkent" 4 815 transactions with
securities for a total of 97.1 billion sums have been concluded, 3.4 billion
pieces of securities of 69 issuers have participated. In the sectoral context,
the banking sector is leading, accounting for 68.0% of the exchange's turnover,
which in aggregate amounts to 66.0 billion sums.
