According
to the results of auction on the Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent"
for the week from May 21 to May 25, 2018, 143 purchase and sale transactions
were concluded with securities of 29 joint-stock companies. As a result, 14.4
million common share and 26.2 thousand of preferred securities were sold. The
total turnover of the exchange was 11.9 billion sums.
Analysis of
branch indicators of the exchange on investment attractiveness shows that
securities of commercial banks were in the greatest demand in the past period
and the share of banks in total trade turnover was – 89.2%.
The largest
transaction of the week was concluded on May 24 in the Main Board mode as a
result, 5.2 million shares of the JSCB Kapitalbank worth 5.0 billion sums were
sold. The cost of one share was 950 sums.
Leader in
terms of the number of concluded deals for the week is JSC Kvarts. Shares of
JSC participated in 40 transactions, 6.5 thousand shares (31.5 million sums)
which were traded on the secondary market of RSE "Toshkent".
The average
daily turnover of securities for the period from April 21 to May 25 was 2.9
billion sums, while the average transaction amounted to 83.0 million sums. At
the same time, the average selling price per share was 822.4 sums.
The highest
price per share for this period was marked by the results of the deal with
shares JSC with Foreign Investments Toshkentvino kombinati. Securities of this
company were sold on the secondary market at a price of 90,000 sums per share.
The nominal value of each share was 4,500 sums.
In terms of
trading volume, the leader is JSCB Kapitalbank (the share in the weekly
turnover of the stock exchange was 92.6% or 11 billion sums), PJSCB Turkistan
(6.8% or 0.8 billion sums), JSC Kvarts (0.2% or 31.5 million sums) and JSC with
Foreign Investments Toshkentvino kombinati (0.3% or 4.3 million sums). Their
total volume was 99.7% (11.8 billion sums) from the entire turnover of the
exchange for the week.
By
categories of investors, the greatest activity was observed in individuals: on
the amount of concluded deals – 99.9% (11.8 billion sums) of the total, by the
number of concluded deals – 97.2% (139 pieces).
Considering
the exchange turnover according to the regional affiliation of issuers, it
should be noted that during the past week, purchase and sale transactions were
concluded with shares of enterprises of six regions of the Republic of
Uzbekistan. The largest volume of transactions was recorded with shares of
enterprises of Tashkent city - 99.5% of the total turnover.
Since the
beginning of the year, on the RSE "Toshkent" 5,128 transactions with
securities for a total of 124.3 billion sums have been concluded, 3.47 billion
pieces of securities of 73 issuers have participated.
