Yesterday, the opening ceremony of one of the year's most remarkable events for the financial and investment community, the conference "Uzbekistan and International Equity Capital Markets 2025," was held.

The event brought together government agencies, business representatives, and international experts in the field of capital markets.

The Acting Chairman of the Management Board of the "Tashkent" Republican Stock Exchange, Fayzulla Tashov, participated as a speaker in the panel session on the topic "Global and Local Investment Landscape - Building Suitable Equity Capital for Long-Term Success."

During the session, Fayzulla Tashov discussed about the ongoing reforms at the exchange, the level of preparedness of the exchange's infrastructure - the depository and clearing systems, as well as the measures being taken to place a portion of the Investment Fund's shares by the end of 2026.

Furthermore, he emphasized the efforts being made to ensure the effectiveness and transparency of the processes being implemented.

On the second day of the conference, November 13, practical seminars and trainings dedicated to IPO issues are planned. These events will include in-depth discussions on the legal aspects of placement in the international market, financial reporting, interaction with investors, and working with the media.
