During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of the capital market, the introduction of modern financial solutions, and the attraction of foreign investors. It was noted that RBI is considering the possibility of participating in Uzbekistan’s capital market as a custodian, and also plans to operate on the stock exchange through local brokers.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on increasing the liquidity of the national capital market, expanding the investor base, and implementing advanced international practices in the settlement, custody, and servicing of securities transactions.
