Under Decree No. PF-254 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 18 December 2025 “On Additional Measures to Improve the Investment Environment in the Capital Market”, domestic issuers have been granted the opportunity to issue and place into circulation bonds denominated in foreign currency.
As a practical result of this initiative, for the first time in the history of the Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent”, foreign currency-denominated corporate bonds have been included in the Exchange Listing.
The first foreign currency-denominated bonds were issued simultaneously by two issuers — Asia Alliance Bank JSCB and Universal Bank JSCB.
Asia Alliance Bank JSCB bonds:

- nominal value — USD 100;
- coupon rate — 7% per annum;
- coupon payments — quarterly;

Universal Bank JSCB bonds:

The combined volume of the two bond issues amounts to USD 30 million. Trading in these bonds on the Exchange begins today.
